Residents groan over bad roads in Ogba.

Residents of ijaiye, ogba have called on the Lagos State government to come to their aid over the deplorable state of roads in the area.
 

There are complaints that some of the roads, especially the one in front of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism has worsened as a result of the rains.

A shop owner opposite the school, Chidi Ezekiel, said the road is now impassable, while motorists, who dared either had a tough time passing through the road or had their vehicles stucked and damaged due to bad spots.

He said: “most vehicles now follow one-way because of the bad road , causing serious traffic and it is affecting our businesses. ”He said.

 

A keke rider, Yusuf Abdulkareeem complained that the state of the road has caused a reduction in the number of passengers he carried daily.

“Passengers no longer enter keke from the park, they prefer to walk past the bad roads before entering keke and it is affecting us at the parks.

“We have complained severally to our representatives but we are yet to get any response from them. The government needs to fix the roads soon,” Mr Adeyemi, a Secondary school teacher said.
